Week 6 - September 17 - September 21:

Seventh Grade:
Monday - Grammar page 30 - 34, Spelling- page 26 ( both practices) , page 27 1-25, page 28 1-12 - What is not finished in class is due for homework.
Tuesday - Review Unit 1 of Grammar
Wednesday - Review Unit 3 of spelling
Thursday- Class Game regarding Grammar (Unit 1) and Spelling (Unit 3)
Homework: page 40 -41 of Grammar, Questions do not have to be written
Friday - Vocabulary Test ( Unit 3 of spelling)

10th Grade-

Monday - (Honors only - Outline pages 41-45)
(Reading Comprehension exercise: ) Read pages 46-50, one paragraph at a time. After reading the paragraph, close the book or cover the text. Write down the main points you remember from the paragraph (in outline form).

If you aren't certain about the information you read, read it again until you become so..Homework: Vocab. - reproach, mesmerizing, reverie, lamented, fiasco, nonchalantly

Tuesday: Review Vocabulary words. Finish story, page 50 -52. Repeat the reading comprehension exercise from Monday.
Homework: Questions 1 and 2 on page 53. (Write the questions) and Journal entry #2


Wednesday: Review Vocabulary words and reading comprehension exercises. Discuss story.
Homework: Questions 3-7. (Honors - also do the critical response on page 53. An essay answer is required.)

Thursday: Read Aloud -Journal entry 1 or 2 (student choice)

Friday: Vocabulary Game

11th Grade:

Monday: P. 24 - 27. Reading comprehension exercise. Read one paragraph at a time. On a sheet of paper - write paragraph one ( outline form) then list the main points you remember (A,B,C)
Homework: vocab - bereave, entreat, bier, sabbath, savory.

Tuesday: Complete story and repeat the reading comprehension exercise for the remainder of the story. Questions 1-4 on page 30.

Wednesday: Review Story and vocab. Homework : Questions p.30 5-10

Thursday: Class Game

Friday: Test

12th Grade:
Monday: Finish " Unferth's Challenge". Read " Battle with Grendel" aloud. Discuss
Homework: Ques. 7-12 on page 30.

Tuesday: Review and discuss questions from above

Wednesday: Class Game regarding trivia from the above

Thursday: Either a repeat of Wednesday or a quiz depending on the progress

Friday: Depending on Thursday's progress - Quiz or watch more of "Twelfth Night"
