Monday -Literature - page 28 - Read "Princess". Homework: Answer question 1-5 (in complete sentences) on page 37.

Tuesday - Read "Riki Tiki Tavi" on page 39. Homework - Answer questions 1-5 (in complete sentences) on page 50.
Vocabulary - bungalow, wisp, draggled, cower, spectacles, fledgling, gait, coil, consolation, cunningly

Wednesday - Review the above stories and vocabulary

Thursday - Spelling - page 84. Write each Basic and challenge word twice. Page 85 1-24. Questions must be written. Grammar - p. 147-148, 1-32 (Questions do not have to be written) What ever is not finished in class is homework.

Friday - Weekend homework- Spelling - page 86 (1-4 and 1-6), page 87 (1-8) , page 88 (Careers)

10th Grade -
Monday - Outline page 744
- Vocabulary: carrion, meddling, eddy, marshall, yawning, state, garland, bray, swagger, arc
Tuesday - Discuss Greek Mythology and Literature (review information from 744-747). Answer questions on the board.
Wednesday - Discuss "Oedipus Rex"
Thursday - Watch "Oedipus Rex"
Friday - Rough Draft of Paper re: The Comparison and Contrast of "Cinderella" from Disney and the Brothers Grimm is due (typed - double spaced, 12 font, at least 2 FULL pages)
Begin reading "Antigone"

11th -
Monday - Vocabulary - profuse, dauntless, reverie, tremulousness, phantasm, wanton, revel. Outline or write a one page essay regarding the information about Edgar Allen Poe.

Tuesday - Answer questions from the board. Read "Masque of the Red Death" . Answer Identifying Fact questions
